Our Teas

Kenyan Purple Tea

A Rare  Unique Treasure from the Highlands of Kenya

Unique to Kenya, grown in the cool, misty elevations of the Kenyan highlands, Purple Tea is one of the most unique and health-promoting teas in the world. This extraordinary tea is derived from a special cultivar of Camellia sinensis called TRFK 306/1, developed by the Tea Research Foundation of Kenya to thrive in high altitudes and deliver powerful health benefits.

What sets Purple Tea apart is its high concentration of anthocyanins—the same antioxidants found in blueberries and acai—which give the leaves their purplish hue and deliver profound protective effects. Studies have shown that anthocyanins can support cardiovascular health, regulate blood sugar levels, and provide neuroprotective benefits, including improved memory and cognitive performance.¹²³

Purple Tea is also rich in polyphenols and catechins, which help reduce inflammation, neutralize harmful free radicals, and may aid in weight management. Interestingly, Purple Tea contains less caffeine than green or black teas, making it a perfect choice for those seeking calm focus without the jitters.⁴

In taste, Purple Tea is exceptionally smooth with pleasant woody, floral, and sweet notes, and a clean finish that lingers gently on the palate.

Kenyan White Tea

Delicate. Pure. Radiant.

Kenyan White Tea is the most delicate of our offerings, hand-harvested from the youngest buds at high altitudes. Naturally rich in antioxidants, it supports metabolism, promotes glowing skin, and offers a soothing, clean energy boost without the crash. Its flavor is smooth and ethereal—lightly sweet with subtle floral and honey undertones.

Kenyan Yellow Tea

Rare. Refined. Restorative.

Kenyan Yellow Tea is one of the world’s rarest and most delicate teas—crafted with a unique “smothering” process that gently oxidizes the leaves in a warm, humid environment. This ancient and meticulous method softens the grassy edge of green tea while unlocking a smooth, mellow sweetness that’s all its own.

Known for its digestive benefits and association with enhanced mental clarity, Yellow Tea is prized by tea connoisseurs and wellness seekers alike. It’s a perfect mid-day brew to awaken the senses and soothe the body.

Kenyan Green Tea

Pure. Vibrant. Grounding.

Our Kenyan Green Tea is a celebration of simplicity and strength. Grown at high altitudes on nutrient-rich volcanic soil, this tea undergoes minimal oxidation, a process that preserves its natural catechins and polyphenols—compounds scientifically linked to enhanced metabolism, heart health, and cognitive support.

Unlike other green teas, Kenyan Green Tea offers a unique flavor experience: earthy, slightly nutty, and perfectly balanced with a crisp, clean aroma. It’s a revitalizing cup that grounds you while gently energizing the body and mind.

Kenyan Black Tea

Bold. Brisk. Unapologetically Flavorful.

Our Kenyan Black Tea is a powerhouse brew—crafted using the CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) method and graded PF1, it’s designed for strength, consistency, and exceptional taste. This process breaks the leaves into small, uniform granules that steep quickly, producing a brightly colored, full-bodied infusion that’s rich in flavor and aroma.

Made from a blend of pekoe leaves and fannings sourced directly from our highland family farms, this black tea is as bold in taste as it is in heritage. It’s your go-to for a classic, invigorating cup—whether enjoyed plain, with milk, or as the base of a spiced chai.

Kenyan Hibiscus Tea

Vibrant. Tart. Naturally Healing.

Bold in color and even bolder in taste, our Kenyan Hibiscus Tea is a stunning infusion made from the deep crimson calyces of the Hibiscus Sabdariffa flower. Grown in Kenya’s rich volcanic soil, this caffeine-free herbal tea is bursting with antioxidants, Vitamin C, and natural compounds that support heart health, blood pressure regulation, and immune function.

Known for its refreshing tartness and vivid ruby hue, hibiscus is a favorite for both hot and iced brews. Its natural cooling, uplifting effect makes it a perfect choice for warm climates, detox days, or simply moments when you want a clean, rejuvenating sip.
